The mortals (well...sort of) of Mort!

Now I’ve only read one Discworld novel (Mort), but I wanted to share what I found funniest about the world’s take on wizards.

Wizards must be celibate, otherwise they can’t perform magic. If they even think about the nasty, there go the magic powers for a couple weeks.

But after Cutwell the wizard and Queen Keli hook up, Cutwell still sets off a fireworks show - something he’d performed earlier when he had magic.

Conclusion? Once wizards do the deed, they cease to be wizards, they instead become scientists.
