Something like this would be so colossally helpful. I'm sick and tired of trying to research specific clothing from any given culture and being met with either racist stereotypical costumes worn by yt people or ai generated garbage nonsense, and trying to be hyper specific with searches yields fuck all. Like I generally just cannot trust the legitimacy of most search results at this point. It's extremely frustrating. If there are good resources for this then they're buried deep under all the other bullshit, and idk where to start looking.

another addition as far as physical media goes there is the encyclopedia of national dress (that i still need to buy myself bc this kind of thing is super important to my sort of fantasy designing) but yes i do agree i wish there was EVEN MORE documentation on this

Gave myself a lil challenge to draw 151 of any Pokemon with new markers I got at the end of last year - it's been forever since I've used markers and I wanted something fun and easy to draw to practice with them. Mainly I was trying to remove as many obstacles to myself to get this done and I'm happy I succeeded. And it got me pretty nostalgic for Pokemon again so I've been rewatching the original Indigo league series : )

Drew this exactly 2 years ago tomorrow after watching Sk8 the Infinity and relistening to Discworld around the same time, which resulted in this radical pun. After bringing this sketch into creation, I mused with a friend on a Discworld version of SK8 that'd probably go something like:

It'd be a Death book, like Soul Music but with skateboarding

Everyone has skatesonas like in SK8

Vetinari is in on it too, initially does some recon then picks it up

Vimes: "you called sir?" Vetinari: *popping an ollie in the Oblong Office* "Ah yes Vimes, come in."

Moist picks an old identity back up as his skatesona

Vimes: "You gotta know how the streets feel under your wheels"

At the end an official skater's guild is set up
