Finally made it over to @blindonionpizza today and I'm very happy we did. There was a lot to like about this pizza, especially the crust. It was not a NY-style pizza at all, and had a softer, slightly sweeter dough. Turns out they use a type of sourdough bagel dough! I absolutely loved the flavor and texture, as it was very comforting, for use of a better word. They also create a decorative edge to the crust that is visually pleasing. The pizza tasted very west coast - not a negative, in my book. I love all these different kinds of crusts I've encountered in Portland. As for rest of tonight's pizza, the cheese was wonderfully melty, the pepperoni appropriately salty but not overly greasy, and the sausage had a bit of a spicy kick that was much appreciated.
