FE3H OTP First Kiss Head canons

More head canons that wouldn’t leave me alone. Taking requests for Head Canons and One Shots for these ships. Let me know. Might help me out of my funk.

• Their first kiss had been during the heat of battle

• It was fierce, spur of the moment

• After the adrenaline wore off the awkwardness set in and Jeritza wanted to try it again

• They were both so damn awkward

• They linked their fingers

• They couldn't look at each other without blushing

• Byleth was stifling nervous laughter

• It was contagious 

• Jeritza was clearing his throat an awkward smile on his face

• It took them a full ten minutes to calm down. 

• Jeritza took Byleths’ hands in his own, kissing his knuckles and looked into his eyes.

• They leaned into each other

• Just close enough...

• They smacked their noses

• They had to stifle laughter again

• It took them a full 20 minutes to get it right

• When they did...

• It was soft

• Jeritza had cupped Byleths' neck

• And Byleth slid his hands over Jeritzas' chest

• Neither one was used to soft

• But they liked it

• "Better than the first?" 

• "By far my dear."

Dimitri x Claude 

• It was Dimitri who kissed first

• Late at night in the library at the Academy

• In front of a fireplace

• Over a book of poems

• In Almyran

• He asked Claude to read one to him

• He did

• In common

• "No. In Almyran."

• "I can't-"

• "You obviously can."

• Claude blushed but started reading

• The language flowed from him so easily

• Dimitri became completely love struck

• Completely and utterly love struck

• He couldn't keep his eyes off Claudes’ lips

• He kissed him

• Claude had tensed shocked

• He was being kissed

• By a freaking prince

• When he didn't respond Dimitri pulled away

• "I'm sorry I-"

• "Do it again."

• He did

• Warm open mouthed and dare they say loving

• They pulled away blushing up to their ears

• But they were smiling

• They moved a little closer to each other

• Cuddled up Claude resting his head on Dimitris' shoulder

• Dimitri with his arm around Claudes' back

• "Shall I read another?"

• "Only if you use Almyran."

• "Deal."

Hubert x Ferdinand 

• It started with a fight

• Everything always started that way with them

• Ferdinand opened his mouth

• Hubert shot back

• A shove

• A slap

• Finally Hubert grabbed Ferdinands' arms 

• And slammed him against a wall

• The air stilled

• Eyes locked

• Both furious

• "I hate you"

• "Shut your mouth for once"

• "How dare-!"

• Hubert kissed him

• Hard

• More of a bite

• Ferdinand struggled

• He pushed Hubert away

• And slapped him

• "How dare you kiss me like that?! If you're going to kiss me it's going to be like this!"

• He pulled Hubert down kissing him passionately

• All tongue

• No teeth

• Hubert held his arms tighter

• The heat was still there

• But it was no longer angry

• They pushed and pulled each other

• Fighting to dominate

• Hubert won

• When they pulled away they were breathless

• "That is how you kiss me." 

• "I will endeavor to remember that should such an occasion arise again."

Sylvain x Felix 

• It was a bet

• If Sylvain won against Felix in a Spar

•  Felix would do whatever he wanted

• Sylvain agreed

• The pace was almost inhuman

• Felix was shocked

• Sylvain was actually trying

• He wasn't pulling his strength back

• Felix was barely keeping up

• This was the same energy he sees on the battlefield

• "What could you possibly want this bad?!"

• "A kiss."

• Felix let his guard down

• For a split second

• That was all it took for Sylvain to send him down

• Sylvain straddled him

• The shaft of his javelin pressed against Felixs' chest

• "Yield?"

• "You win."

• Sylvain leaned down and pressed a light kiss to Felixs' lips.

• It was too soft

• Way too soft 

• Felix almost didn't kiss back

• Almost

• He flipped them over

• Kissed harder

• When they pulled away they were smiling

• "Best two out of three."

• "Deal."

Dedue X Ashe 

• It was during the war

• Dedue feared dead

• They were losing the war

• At least they thought they were

• The Golden Deer came out of nowhere

• Claude leading the charge

• Dedue was with him

• Ashe had never felt such joy

• They fought side by side

• When the enemy was on the retreat Dedue turned to Ashe

• He wanted to apologize for making him worry

• Ashe wanted no part of it

• He jumped into his arms and kissed him full on the mouth

• Dedue wrapped his arms under Ashe and held him up

• It was tearful

• And the most beautiful thing in the world

• Ashe pulled away nearly sobbing

• They kissed again 

• Small little pecks

• They were smiling when they pulled away completely 

• Dedue didn't put him down

• He just held him tighter

• "I have missed you too little one."

• "You're not leaving again."

• "Never."

Linhardt x Caspar 

• They have always been attracted to each other

• Always touching each other

• Always together

• Have been since childhood

• Caspar even asked Linhardt to be his date to a ball at the palace.

• Linhardt accepted

• No one else was going to ask him anyway

• Though he doesn't think he makes for good company

• He's more of a wallflower

• Caspar wasn't having it.

• "One dance Lin!"

• Of course it had to be a slow song

• Caspar lead them in sweeping circles around the dance floor

• And his eyes never left Linhardts'

• "You're staring."

• "You're beautiful."

• Linhardt had never blushed so hard in his life

• When the song ended Caspar and tilted Linhardt back holding him tight

• "Can I kiss you?"

• "What- here?"

• "Good a place as any."

• Linhardt only smiled and pulled him down pressing their lips together. 

• Romantic? Yes

• It was gentle 

• But so much love

• Until Caspar nearly dropped Linhardt

• They righted themselves and Caspar nearly dragged Linhardt out to the garden

• They had years of kisses to make up for.

Raphael x Ignatz 

• It was at the very peak of the war the final push

• Ignatz was being kept in the rear ranks with the archers

• Raphael was being sent to the front

• He was helping Claude lead the charge

• First one in as always

• Ignatz helped him put on his armor

• He tried not to cry

• He really did

• A few tears fell

• Raphael caught some and wiped them away

• They stood there trying to be strong

• Trying to comfort each other

• Raphael took his hands in his own

• Ignatz was still trying not to sob

• Raphael was trying to smile

• It failed

• Ignatz just wanted to bury his face into Raphaels’ chest and hold onto him

• Raphael wanted to take Ignatz away from this whole messy business 

• "I'll be okay, Ig." 

• "How do you know?"

• "I don't but...maybe you could give me a good luck charm."

• "Like what?" 

• "A kiss?" 

• Ignatz blushed so bad but nodded

• He had to get up on his toes

• But he managed a chaste kiss to his lips

• Raphael kissed back wrapping him up in a hug

• They were both crying

• Raphael held him as tight as he dared

• Ignatz held him back

• When they pulled away they took turns wiping each other's tears away

• "Be safe Raphael."

• "Don't worry Ignatz. I got a good luck charm now. Just promise that when I get back you'll kiss me again." 

• "Promise." 

• He kept that promise.
