Thank you, everyone, this has been making me feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone. This is the FASTEST a random post I made ever blew up in my face and like, it wasn’t even over something I actually worded badly or something of the sort? It’s like, what’s going on what’s happening. The worst part about this to me is that my RSD makes confrontation just about the most stressful thing in the planet to me so I’m legit feeling kinda sick irl over something this absurd, heh.

alright this is a very fun story

so! DBZ has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. some of my earliest memories from childhood are watching the Ocean Dub dvds and also staying up late with my brothers to watch it on adult swim. my mom, brother and i binged the entire thing when i was like 11.

so basically, big nostalgic series. and i gotta tell you. i hated goku for years. like. not hate as in “i wish he wasn’t a character” but in a “god i cant stand how hes written or his personality” bc i felt like he was always coming in JUST IN TIME TO SAVE THE DAY HES THE ONLY HOPE NOBODY ELSE CAN HELP OR EVEN TRY TO and i thought it was obnoxious

fast forward to like. a few months ago and i said. aight hes okay. hes just funny andstupid its not that deep. so i made him a platonic

fast forward to yesterday and i said in a discord server, and i quote: “ i would never admit this to anyone but goku is kinda cute in a stupid way. im not gonna f/o him bc im already head over heels for his brother and idk that feels awkward but like. goku is a nice man “ and within like. an hour i was f/oing him

moral of the story? this is the most ironic character i have ever added to my f/o list
