Happy Sunday, dear Ones. ππ»ββοΈπ We are onto Day 4 of #YamasinYourLife, where we delve into the understanding of Brahmacharya. β walking in awareness of the highest reality, continence, remembering the divine, practicing the presence of God (Yoga Sutras 2.38). . . βRemembering comes first: Celibacy is sometimes considered to be the practice of brahmacharya. However, celibacy is not the cause, but the effect. The practice, or cause, is of constant remembering of the highest reality, absolute truth, the divine, or the presence of God. This remembrance is the cause, and the celibacy is the effect.β Todayβs #asana is an traditional meditative seated pose. π§π»ββοΈIn my meditation class yesterday my student asked how he should sit. There are traditional ways such as this, but whatever makes your body feel comfortable and aware. ππππ»π±π½ . .
