For the first time this morning, I said to my boys, I’m going to do some reading over here for fifteen minutes (actually, I pointed to our big clock and said “until the clock points here” 🤣 gotta speak their language), while you guys play together. And I sat on the couch and read while they played in the “ocean” of blankets right next to me. I had a couple interruptions which was fine, but getting that space to read for that little bit really helped start my day on the right foot. What do you do to help get your day on the right track? Have I told y’all how I’ve been seeing a chiropractor for the past month or so? I never really thought I’d ever go to a chiropractor but after my OB heard about my hip pain that I’ve had every pregnancy, he suggested I go to one. And it has HELPED. Significantly! My hips have been creating a domino effect. I was having regular back pain and a dull headache almost all the time. And that plus my diastasis recti (the separation of my stomach muscles from past pregnancies) and lack of core muscle support was making for a very uncomfortable pregnancy. But I’m on the mend and have my chiropractor to thank! Have you ever seen a chiropractor? Plus, after my appointments (which have been the most kid friendly appointments ever), I get to take the boys to @koptowncenter for @duckdonuts and playing in the grass. Check out my Stories to see.
