so i have this headcanon that garak and parmak actually met when they were much younger and garak became sort of fascinated with him and that's why tain ended up making him interrogate parmak specifically, but whatever -

the point is whenever i see this meme all i can think about is young parmak tripping on research chemicals in the club and yelling in garak's general direction and garak's like oh my god, i love him

I was just thinking how enabran tain was only worried about accumulating power, that’s the only thing that mattered to him. “sentiment is the greatest weakness of all,” and all that. but when we last hear from garak, he’s castellan (president) of the cardassian union and living in the castellan’s residence with his two doctor boyfriends, kelas parmak and julian bashir. he’s the most powerful person in the union, and he’s got not one but two live-in boyfriends.
