ALSO I showed Dan my “have the courage to exist” tattoo that I have on my forearm and said I put it there to help remind me not to be afraid of living life. He said “Aw, I’m honored my quote inspired you so much that you got it tattooed. I’m glad you’re still here.”

How did it feel to hug them? What did they smell like? Was Phils hug the softest thing ever??? (not in a creepy way lol)

Dan’s hug is a very soft half hug and quick (because he’s weird about close contact which I understand) but it’s also so gentle. He’ll let you hug him but he doesn’t fully latch on himself. It’s sweet.

Phil, on the other hand, envelopes you in a full bear hug and holds on tight. The theory that he doesn’t let go if you don’t is TRUE. I held on for about fifteen seconds. It was very comforting and a welcoming feeling.

They both smelled like a warm musk to me. Dan especially. It was a masculine scent, but not like super over the top, yanno? Very nice.

RIGHT I called him out on it too and jokingly said “I KNOW I stood out in 92 degree heat in a sweater outside of the venue for two hours for this. God how COULD you Dan??” He did a fake crying face, said “I’m sorry!”, and we laughed
