Will I ever properly draw fireworks? Not last minute like these new years drawings usually are. 😅

Also, please never hold fireworks, and please keep yourself a safe distance from them. Evelyn is magic and fictional.

Had some tough conversations with people, trying not to fall back into my dread. So I worked on a redraw of this Demon Watch piece that made me really happy in 2017.

I think younger me would have been proud. Disappointed in a lot of things, but proud.

All's fine. Just things that are unavoidable

Lunch doodles~

I don't remember length of time, but probably 2-3 weeks.

It's a mix of all my characters from various stories and a bonus of 2 Tav doodles because BG3 still lives rent-free in my brain.

It be a mix.

And to shine through on its own paper, a Malfius doodle! I really like a white (and red) figure against a solid black background for my Devils & Details stuff. Fits the mood for the stories. Kills sharpies, though.

And this page has the two doodles that tied for favorites in this batch!

Namely the hair-down Esther taking the top left/middle, and my Tav at the middle right.

I actually liked how the first doodle with Evelyn turned out, and might revisit the idea with a proper piece someday.

To continue doodle pages, here's one for Evelyn. She's my go-to doodle character.

The only thing I've made progress on is the Hawke piece and different doodling. 🥲

I don't know how much that's gonna change with how busy things are gonna be for the next week.

The earring thing is literally only a thing I will ever notice.

You can't even tell in a whole piece, but I know.

Her and Darrin split a pair when she got her first ear piercing (at 6) because she was scared it would hurt.

She tried to match it later.

I'm probably going to slow a bit on doodles because I've switched into DW work mode, but there will still be some.

First doodle week page:

Penny and Ruby at the top.

In the middle from the left Evelyn w/ her scythe, Vera, Ike, and a character I won't name yet.

On the bottom, it's Dante and more Evelyn.

All except Penny and Ruby are my original characters.

Second doodle page:

Top: Ike and Evelyn, and Velvet Crowe

Bottom: Jaxon w/ Sammy, and then Wyatt and Winnie playing games.

All but Velvet are my characters. 🙂

Didn't have much energy in me for working on thumbnails during lunch, but still wanted to draw.

Ended up finishing something I started on a lunch a while back that I wasn't too happy with.
