My youngest got her new glasses in today! They’ve been held together by tape for a month and last week they gave out. Yesterday the front office worker of her school questioned her about them with a really condescending tone. But this passive aggressive bullshittery wasn’t really directed at my kiddo- she pitched it for me to overhear knowing I could hear her but not see her from where I was standing. Look lady, I get it. I’m not the most together parent right now. If you’re so centered then you must have the mental cycles to to know that taking a damn tone at my kid for me to overhear is an exercise in futile assholery- it makes struggling parents feel bad with no gain for anyone but your damn ego. ⚖️ " Before the Balance " ⚖️ I wrote these songs separately before I found my balance, there is another but I'm delaying it until further notice.
