[you liked my like for a starter post forever ago and I had an irresistible urge to put them both in the space prison from guardians of the galaxy.......we can figure out the context as we go?]

Yes yes, put on your bravest, toughest front walking to your room, then hide under your bed like a sensible adult, that is exactly how to handle this situation....Soldier?  Fuck, I don't even have a name, what's my purpose now, what's going to happen, what if these people want to hurt me too, this is awful.

The soldier's anxiety only worsens as the days go by.  He doesn't feel completely safe in his room because that's where people would expect him to be.  People, and, whatever the not-quite-people-looking-things are.  Finding some kind of secluded spot is a must.  No one's hurt him yet, so that's good.  But privacy is still so important.

Then when he finally thinks he found a good hiding place, he's just sat down and stretched his legs when he notices, with a start, that someone else is already here.
