Sometimes I catch myself remembering how I was being forced to work in my father's garage as a child being used as nothing but cheap labor for him and how I was abused daily by him and my family though the entire process however nowadays whenever those memories come flooding back to me they are overshadowed by the memory of me explaining to my girlfriend how I used to do bodywork for my father followed by of course a few more questions and me explaining how I used to work on fixing cars and motorcycles with him which was follows by her telling me in the sweetest and warmest tone I have ever heard saying how she understands why I cannot drive anymore because of the trauma I have because of some other things he did to me and her and joking about me being a passenger princes before telling me that from now on I have to help her in the garage to get everything done and ready before we go on any long road trip together since because I have more experience than her with this kind of stuff

So thank you father despite you having been nothing but a piece of shit all your life at least because of my lost childhood in your shitty chop shop I get to be able to spend my time with the most wonderful woman in the world fixing our family car or just helping her fix her project kia truck
