Kagami smiled as wide as she could to her love, the pink roses almost immediately brightening up the room. She coughed down into her bed, as she felt no need to move an arm to cover her mouth. Not that she had too much of a choice. Her left arm was connected to the tubes that fed her blood stream through an I.V. and she was sick enough that her right arm wouldn’t have been able to make it in time to stop the heaving from going further than her personal space.

"Thanks, Matilda. That means a lot." While simple words, the blonde meant that as much as she ever could. She’d been hospitalized for a few days now, and other than this visit from Matilda, hadn’t seen anyone she knew in the endless hours rolling around in the white sheets.

Pressing a button on the railing of the bed, she sat herself up with every second as to not exert any excess energy she may have left.

"How are you, Matti? How’s school been? I’d love to hear! Days feel so much longer here.. Has anything happened since I’ve been gone?"
