Studying for my LAST A&P exam of the summer and I am so ready for this class to be over! 8 week courses are definitely not for me but I have worked hard throughout the whole 8 weeks and am proud of all my outcomes so far! This last exam is over the respiratory system, digestive system, urinary system and reproductive system. Right now I'm going over the urinary system for my urinary sys. lecture and lab quiz tomorrow. I’m studying 7 slides at a time and taking breaks between each 7 slides. Doing this until I finish going all 35 slides and then i’ll go over everything I need to know for the urinary system lab quiz!

I'm white, disabled and constantly discriminated against because of my disability. The government doesn't care about me - they make it harder and harder for me to be able to have the things I need in order to function in everyday society. How do I reap the benefits of slavery?

You were born white. You were born with white privilege. Your skin alone gives you more privilege than a black disabled person in America. There’s intersectionality in privilege, too. You can acknowledge that you’re discriminated against for being disabled, but also acknowledge that your whiteness wields a certain degree of power in a nation operating off white supremacy.
