WILDLIFE FREEDOM PIRATES ✖️ Did you know that often the illegal wildlife trade is perpetuated by well-meaning people? ✖️ Maybe you’ve been there. You’ve locked eyes with a caged animal on the roadside or in a market for sale. ✖️ The poor creature is in a terrible state, perhaps in a tiny cage, malnourished, and highly stressed. ✖️ You believe that by purchasing the animal, it may have a chance at survival, at receiving care either by your hands or those of a rehabilitator, or maybe you even have plans to release it into the wild yourself. ✖️ A shocking number of wildlife is purchased out of pity, out of trying to help. ✖️ Unfortunately, your money is perpetuating this terrible trade and more animals will be trafficked directly because of your purchase. ✖️ Therefore, I propose that you ask to see the animal closer, ask to hold it (if possible), and then ✖️ STEAL IT. ✖️ Then?
