I recently discovered Purple Haze Feedback and have an idea. May I please ask for headcanons for Illuso reacting to his s/o telling Sheila E to not harm Illuso but to take any body part for them, like dismember their arm or harm them. In return to not harm Illuso. All set everyone lives au

I actually haven’t read PHF but I know the gist of Sheila E’s character and the plot

Illuso is genuinely surprised

As a child, Illuso had gotten used to his parents’ apathetic way of caring about him, so you quite literally jumping in front of him makes his stomach turn at the unfamiliar feeling

He’s very flattered, but he doesn’t really know how to react

The chivalrous thing to do would be to fight this battle himself (the girl was smaller and skinnier than him) and defend your honor

Instead, he’s eyeing the nearest reflective surfaces and trying to subtly take hold of you

As you try to bargain with the girl, he sees her stand manifest itself unbeknownst to you

Which means it’s time to go!

You’re quickly yanked into the mirror world, your vision flipping and the incensed girl now gone

“What the-“

He smothers your questions with a tight hug, pressing your face into his chest and squeezing his eyes shut

The mirror world is deathly quiet save for Illuso’s loud heartbeat in your ears and soft breaths

“Don’t do that ever again.”

It’s the closest thing to a “thank you” or “that was very brave” you’ll get from him

From then on, he’s more protective of you and tries to show his affection more often
