It's a double edged sword really. I'm really happy I was able to go back to my old job because they actually pay pretty nice and my supervisor is chill. But on the other hand, it's actually pretty physically demanding and I always come home exhausted. Plus I have to get up at 6:00 every morning >_< but at least I have a job again :D

A great question! I am definitely still doing the illustration meme. And please don't worry about sounding impatient, it is ok and I understand. :> Answer / explanation below the cut!

The illustration meme is totally still open. I'm still drawing for it, and I'm also still accepting prompts! The dealio is that I'm treating this meme as sort of a fun, long-running project for when I'm bored or artblocked and don't have an specific end-date or priority level in mind. I know the response time on illustration prompts has been slow. I plan on doing all or almost-all of the submissions, though it might take some time. I've gotten about 25 prompts so far, and have illustrated maybe 5 of them. The prompts have been SO GOOD (I am continually flabbergasted by the talent in this fandom!) and I love them all, so please try to be patient. I draw as a hobby so my art time is pretty heavily-constrained by work, irl socialization, and other things. I will say that if the prompt comes from a published story the illustration will take a little longer because I always feel like I should re-read the story before I draw. I also do the prompts out-of-order depending on whether I feel like drawing lighthearted things or heavier stuff. As always, prompts with critters will be completed faster because I am silly and like drawing animals. :> Also, if you are concerned that your ask did not go through please feel free to send an ask specifically asking me if I got you're prompt. I'm be happy to clarify!

Growing up watching Inspector Gadget, I'd always wondered what the "man" behind the chair really looked like. (And I'm not referring to the disappointing action figure, either.)

I'm sure that if you watched the show, you did too.

Wouldn't it be neat to have an illustration meme where we all try to imagine what Dr. Claw actually looked like? Who's up for the challenge?
