I'm far from the first person to point this out, but LGB(Trans) people (mostly of color) are just easier to harass compared to any other combination of labels you can attach to a white person.
Illymation had a truly disgraceful assortment of fiends run a harassment campaign against them, but coverage of it was few and far between because it was so obviously a guy trying to find dirt on her. Illy isn't trans, but she is gender nonconforming with she/they pronouns, Jewish, and supports other non-white people with unconventional body types.
CD-Call is probably the most infamous example, and the one most likely to get ME harassed just for speaking positively about. She made a 'new' video in a series of what is now 3, addressing the entire decade of bullshit she's been going through, and those who are actively looking to harass her are deliberately ignoring it. I've seen people on practically all social media platforms just... ACCEPT that she's an awful person just because some moron decided to spew lies in the name of her saying some opinions; something that people like Vaush preach all the time with far more intolerant and inherently destructive ideas with less than a 5th of CD-Call's backlash.. Tiktok should've been the last place I'd seen this, but here we are.
I was recently reminded of this gross trend when Wolfertinger666 made a recent post addressing his own harassment, detailing the same kind of bullshit with little success in reaching an audience that might care.
It's not likely that I'll see much support for this, but it's important to show even the slightest bit of recognition for these people, because if they aren't, a lot more LGBT fems of color are going to be harassed in the same way. I'm not friends with these people, and I am just as likely to be harassed the same way, considering what I am to the people they're being harassed by, but this was all done with the very much correct assumption that nobody who was white, and especially nobody who was straight or cisgendered would care. Trump was elected like this, and the sooner people realize this, the better.
