Slides 1 & 2: Carlton Mackey (@carltonmackey) and I sat down with Virginia Prescott (@verginger) of On Second Thought, a radio program on @gpbmedia, to speak about how our art is an act of rebellion. Speaking honestly, my frustration, rage, and WTF! boiled over while recording. Carlton shed some tears. Virginia had an open mind. I *think* we were supposed to talk more about what books and films and media we were ingesting, but....that decidedly did not happen. We had an open forum to discuss what was truly on our minds. Ash Nash of Powerhaus Creative (@powerhauscreative ) and C4 (@c4atlanta) did their mother 👏🏾fuckin 👏🏾 thang 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾!! They coordinated it, supplied us, fed us, *and* had the budget to pay us! How blessed are we as artists to have folks like this in our corner? The work is going to be up @theflatironbuilding until Monday or so. Go take a drive!
