About 14,000 Candidates apply for CSS exam every year, while round about 10,000 appear for the CSS examinations. Reason is that most of the candidates apply for the exams by the charm of the examination scope and standard but once they start their preparation, they soon loose their focus and change their career. While many who apply months before the exams get some other good opportunities and don’t appear in the examinations.
