I spent part of Christmas Day in the hospital suffering from a tooth that died along with an abscess. My whole vacation was painful - I rarely ate or drank. And the drugs the doctor gave me at the hospital, knocked me out until two days later. The day after I came home to Vancouver, I got a root canal.
