Colette lifted a hand in greeting.
"Oh! Hi! I'm sorry, I didn't see you!"
Gotta Get Down On Friday
The times that Regal took to himself were few and far between. If he had time off, he was either cooking, or slinking around Altamira to eavesdrop on the customers and see what they liked and didn't like. Sometimes he traveled to visit his friends, but the last times he had tried this, no one had been available. It was really troubling that he traveled more quickly than the mail. According to George, Regal was not allowed to buy the Royal Post and improve it to Lezareno standards. If only the King would give him the system. It was all very disheartening.
This weekend was going to be all about him. He was going to spend time alone simply doing nothing, which was something he hadn't done in a terrible long count of years -- his time in prison did not count. The duke had decided it would be nice to go spend the weekend at the hot springs. They weren't usually crowded this time of year, so he figured he would be able to enjoy the springs in peace.
Regal was very excited for the trip. He had packed the night before, and his bags were neatly placed in one corner of the room. There were exactly twenty one minutes left before he would be allowed to leave. Unfortunately, time had decided to be a scumbag and drag all day, leaving him quite antsy at this point. All he wanted to do was leave.
When he heard one of his elevators rattling up toward his office, he gave it no second thoughts. There weren't any appointments scheduled for today, and no one showed up unexpectedly at this time of day. Perhaps George was early with today's report.
Oh, Waifuuu~
Last night, you wrote me a little story about how wonderful you think I am. It really means a lot to me to know you feel that way about me. As you saw, I couldn't really function after I read it. (But I reread it and laughed at "that one time Regal was a cow". xD) So I decided I would simply mirror your idea, since I couldn't come up with any other way to tell you how it is I feel. But since I couldn't do it last night, and I don't particularly feel like waiting~ I bring you the best I can say about you.

Shortly before stepping out, Regal had the awkward sensation that there was someone in the bathroom with him. He told himself not to be preposterous and wrapped up his shower in discomfort. Once he turned the water off, the feeling returned, sending a prickling feeling up his spine. Again, he tried to tell himself he was being silly.
When the curtain was pulled aside and Regal was half-way out of the shower, he realized he wasn't being silly.
"What are you doing here, Chosen?" He asked, pleased that he had not so much as jumped in his surprise. He did grab his towel a little more quickly than necessary, but that was the only thing.
"I wish you wouldn't call me that." Zelos said, ignoring the question. "I'm not really a chosen anymore, am I?"
"I guess not. Why are you here?"
Zelos shrugged, watching Regal trying to get dry and stay covered at the same time.
"Is there an emergency?"
"No."
"Did you have to visit me in the shower?"
"Yeah."
"Why?"
Zelos smirked and made a show of shrugging. "Felt it was needed, big guy."
"It wasn't."
"I didn't ask you."
"I noticed."

"..." Marta stared at the name before her, completely unsure of what to even say. Though the first thing that popped in her mind was ... 'what the hell was Zelos thinking!?' Of course at the moment she couldn't say that ... yet. "H-hey Zelos!" The brunette waved with an awkward smile, "How've you been?" It had been a while since she seen the redhead, and she could already tell that this Zelos was much different from the last she'd met.
