in the span of hours tumblr has banned an out trans woman who was outspoken about her harrassment and the unfairness of the website's system and MULTIPLE out trans women who commented on the absurdity of the situation--has even banned them for posting pictures of hammers and cars.

if staff thought this was going to make the situation go away, all staff's gotten is a class action lawsuit. good job, hellsite "moderators." you showed your whole ass and you're going to go to court. again.

like last month alone, several Black kids and teens have gone missing, and found murdered, dismembered or lynched. 16 year old Juliana Nzita, originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, was found hanging from a tree on May 8th.

several Caribbean sea vessels carrying civilians have recently been subject to annihilating air strikes by the US.

this is a continuation of antiblack violence that we in and outside of the imperial core have been subject to before the Nakba, before the Holocaust, before any World War and yet. the world only sounds alarms when it’s them. that hypocrisy is something that i cant ever really get over.

bc regardless, Black ppl still have to do the work and be models for collective freedom and resistance bc otherwise, who? no fr, who?

Maybe I'm being too bitter and need to pipe down but I can't help it.

Whenever I see someone compare a great ship with a horrible one, I just... no. Like comparing percabeth with Anakin and Padme, Odysseus and Penelope, or that famous track star Woodhall couple. Same with Eremika, SasuSaka, etc. I said nothing under the post because I didn't want to start trouble, even when tempted.

However, I'm sitting here like... are you kidding? How the ever-loving hell are they the same? Where's the resemblance? Because they're canon? Or chosen one guy who's powerful x pretty smart girl? Anakin may have had anger issues and done horrible things, I highly doubt Padme would insult Anakin to make him insecure or hurt him whenever he does something she doesn't like, nor do I see Tara judo flipping Hunter over something out of control.

Maybe I'm being sour. Everyone, including these ships, can compare themselves to whatever. Everyone's allowed to have fun! I don't want to be a buzzkill, so I say nothing under the fandom community posts. Still... I can't see the resemblance at all. To me, it seems dramatic and inaccurate.

What do you guys think? Am I being too bitter?

I’ve been reading your blog since I was 10 years old, so it’s been over half a decade. I first realized the abuse when I was 13, and it was so earth shattering honestly. I’ve come to terms with it but it still breaks my heart, especially the aftermath and being forced to take care of a broken brain which I didn’t even break. It hurts so much.

I’m so, SO thankful to have your blog as a resource. If I didn’t, I probably would have been living in a trauma hellscape surrounded by pain and suffering constantly. I don’t even know how to thank you enough.

I feel you on having to deal with the broken brain you didn't even break; that is unfair, infuriating and exhausting. That someone can do that insane amount of damage to you and then you have to spend your life dealing with that, I hate that. It really hurts horribly.

Thank you for reading my blog and sending me a wonderful message. I'm so sorry for what they put you trough. You were so young. And you had to figure it out and find resources all on your own. I'm proud you did it. But also I can feel your pain. I hope life eases up on you and you get peace and safety.
