Mostly because of how they (more specifically Kaz) acted around each other in the anime(s). Especially DR 2.5. I saw a LOT of gay tension between those two. (I know that 2.5 is Nagitos way of viewing them or something. I don’t know, I didn’t understand it well; but that just makes it funnier. Nagito seeing gay tension between those two lmao/hj). Of course, if you don’t see the gay tension and just see them as close friends or even just mutuals/acquaintances then that’s absolutely fine. Folks have opinions ! Like how i see Sondam as purely platonic, and just a guy and a girl who just HAPPEN to be best friends! ^-^

(I also ship Kuzusouda because of how Kaz clang onto Fuyuhiko in that one scene. I know it was because he was a yazuka or something but shh let me dream. Oh and how he always slings his arm over Fuyu shoulder in the anime. He could NOT keep his hands to himself😭)
