I have been very MIA lately because I've been rotating my finances up and down repeatedly without seeing much of a light at the end of the tunnel. As most of you who've been following me for a while probably know, I've been on a journey to get top surgery for some time now - stuck to all the rules, jumped through all the hoops, and in the end it's now all happening much sooner than I expected or planned for - which on the one hand means, yay, but on the other, I'm not financially ready at all. I truly am thankful to all who supported me with commissions this year, because everything I earned went into dedicated savings, that now at least will cover my travel expenses and a downpayment for the surgery. But everything else is up in the air and my insurance will only cover about half of it all, if I'm lucky.

I really didn't wanna do this and was hoping to be able to finance it all through commissions and hard work alone, but it just wasn't enough. My family can't support me financially either, and I'm terrified of taking out a loan because I'm turning over every cent thrice to begin with already.

No matter if you can only share or if you can help with a donation, any support is greatly appreciated!

If you have questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out. I can provide proof and documentation (just don't wanna throw that out into the internet just like that XD)

I know tumblr isn't *the* platform for fundraising concerns, but it's where to this day I have my biggest following, and I do hope one or two or three of you will share this to the right people and the right circles and yeah xD If my schedule wasn't utterly plastered for the entirety of August and September I'd love to offer sth in return for each donation, but I physically can't do that at the moment and don't wanna make promises I can't keep.

Commissions Poll

Hey y'all! This poll is actually for me.

PayPal has decided to make my life a little more difficult, so I'm looking into moving away from platforms that depend on it. It genuinely makes me sad because I love Ko-fi for commissions, especially how transparent and easy it is to pick add-ons.

The biggest issue I'm facing is that I live in a country with very limited options for receiving international payments, and the ones that work, won't accept NSFW art among it's business. Since I can't rely on PayPal, Wise, or Stripe, I'm wondering if Patreon could be a good alternative.

Have you ever used Patreon to commission an artist? If so, did you find the experience comfortable?

I really care about making the commission process as smooth as possible for everyone who works with me, so your vote would help me more than you know.

I can’t understand how people in nexus can’t connect 2 with 2 to get 4 inside their heads.

They seem to be absolutely unable to understand that modders work for FREE. That they bought the game NOT THE MODS. That nobody owes SHIT to them, and it is their responsibility to fuck around and find out.

They complain about everything. The list of requirements, the way the blinders close, the angle of the plant you put outside. If you put the snacks machine, if you don’t put the snack machine. That they installed a mod that mess up half the game and it’s not compatible with yours and somehow they think that’s your problem. They don’t like the cover of the bed? GO MAKE YOURS THEN. I DONT WORK FOR YOU. NOBODY WORKS FOR YOU.

I can’t understand how some modders are so kind to that people either, I truly admire you if you’re one of these well mannered folks, but babe you deserve better.

This is exactly the reason why i stopped sharing things on nexus. I never stopped making mods, I just got sick of the people in there. I never stopped creating, I just don’t share it anymore. And maybe I will at some point but that day is not today.

And don’t come at me to say “just ignore them blabla” this is a vent, I know all that. I don’t need no consolation. Let me breathe.
