bloodmary dredge au where grace is a fisherman who lost his memories looking for someone with only a book to guide him and simon is the eldritch eel god thats responsible for the fuck up shit happening in the ocean and ava is the lighthouse keeper telling grace to stop searching but all the ex scientist wants is to see his husband one last time before both of them gets consumed by the bloody ocean
i wonder how sexuality works for eridians, if they even have a concept like that. because they dont really have genders, so there wouldnt really be anything like straight or gay or bi eridians. but it did get me thinking about if some eridians are aroace and if those eridians would potentially be like same sex couples on earth.
because hear me out here: in nature, we can see certain animals where a same sex pair will adopt a baby, right? like penguins for example. two penguins of the same sex will take care of an egg and the hatchling if it is abandoned for whatever reason by their actual parents.
would eridians have something similar? where eridians who do not want or have a mate can take in a child that has been left without parents for whatever reason? maybe the parents arent able to take care of the child for any reason, maybe the parents get hurt or killed or they simply.. idk... dont want children?
was wondering about this because i keep thinking about grace and if him not wanting a mate would be considered strange on erid. he is already a literal alien, but even so- would it be weird or just normal??? and if it was normal on erid, itd be kinda bittersweet, no? eridians, a literal alien race to grace, being more accepting than humans and earth? the planet he comes from? Him being single on earth is seen as a failure, him being single on Erid is just normal, even if he is the only one of his kind on that planet.
I feel it
I like it
I know it cant be wrong
When you’re trying to save souls, but your own father needs a second chance more than anyone else.
I honestly don’t think Lucifer failed as a father. I feel like it was Lilith who kept taking Charlie away from him… and Charlie herself sang that she never really knew her dad, even though she wanted to so badly.
In “More Than Anything” you can clearly see the heartbreak in Lucifer’s eyes when Lilith takes little Charlie from his arms - the pain of someone who wanted to stay, but wasn’t allowed to. And even in the pilot, when Charlie records a voice message for Lilith and says, “What if what Dad said about me was true?” - it feels like another sign that their separation was forced.
Maybe it’s just my view, but to me, it was never Lucifer who failed. It was manipulation that kept him and Charlie apart. Lilith may not be as openly cruel as someone like Stella from Helluva Boss… but I don’t think she deserves even the slightest title of being a good wife or mother. Her choices may not come from pure malice, but they left scars that shaped both Lucifer and Charlie forever.
vampire neil who respects andrew's boundaries even when he's starving. he would rather bite his own hand than even get close to him without permission. and then we have andrew who is so turned on by it that he lets him bite his neck
It's so interesting how he almost feels out of place standing on the floor, he always floats so to see him just stand there awkwardly feels uncanny? Somehow? He desperately wants to be on the same level as the humans but even if he tries by literally standing on the ground with them, he still doesn't feel like he belongs
