Me when people say that Knot doesn't follow the "rules" of omegaverse.

Look, I've been in fandom a VERY long time and remember when omegaverse started appearing and bleeding out into every fandom imaginable. The thing about omegaverse is there is no one set of standard rules to follow. People have changed and involved this subgenre over years and years!

Knot follows many classic conventions of omegaverse but also does its own thing. Omegaverse by very principal has always toed the line of noncon/dubcon (and back in the day it didnt even toe it, it just said "fuck it" and went full noncon) and so far I love that Knot is asking the questions of instinct versus consent and that Phatsa sets his boundaries. But i also love that we get these desperate rutting, scenting, instinct driven moments that are classic staples of omegaverse.

All that too say, if you dont like omegaverse or find other series to be "superior" then maybe this show isn't for you, which is fine! But dont shit on it because its not your liking. You dont have to watch it.

Side note: if Knot bothers you now, you probably wouldnt survive the age of "ass babies" being used in correlation to mpreg.
