This just came back into my head a second ago and I kinda felt like sharing? So I have a lot of dreams, most of them weird, some of them more realistic. And I was just reminded of one that I had that really bummed me out. The basis of it was that... Mark died. In a car accident or something I think.
I came home from school or wherever I was at, and during the evening I went out to watch TV. I turned it to the news station, which I don’t normally do, and the story about his death came up. I think his mom was talking about him at some point and she was heartbroken, and the news reporter talked about him and the accomplishments he made and how people were missing him and... It made me so goddamn sad. I’m pretty sure there were tears in my eyes when I woke up.
Mark means so much to me. He doesn’t even know me. If I died, he wouldn’t know. But if he died, I’d be devastated, I’d lose a big part of my life and myself and I really don’t want that to happen. I hope he stays okay for a very, very long time.
I really don’t want anything bad to happen to him.

@marco95z sorry I have no motivation to draw digital anymore but I try my best to draw so...ye...
I'm thinking about that 6 movies to get to know me meme and I think these would be on it, but I can't choose a 6th. It would be too final. So the position is open if any movies would like to apply. Movies dealing with mommy issues or dysfunctional families heavily favored.
In no particular order we have (some spoilers below, mostly for Drop Dead Fred and Hereditary) :
•My Neighbor Totoro - chosen because it's a movie that makes me feel calm, happy and hopeful. I feel at home watching it.
•Alice in Wonderland - I identify with Alice. I too often get very bored, get myself into situations and then get scared and just want to go home.
•Drop Dead Fred - This was my favorite movie growing up and now as an adult I very much identify with Elizabeth. The bad relationship she's afraid to leave because she doesn't want to be alone (i did finally leave it though, thank you covid for inducing mania and thank you mania for giving me the impulsivity I needed to finally do it. A bipolar win.), the overbearing abusive mother, the clinging to childish things to cope.
•Beau Is Afraid - This Ari Aster movie does an excellent job of depicting how my anxiety works. And then there's Beau's relationship with his mother and how that shaped his relationship with the world.
•Hereditary - And THIS Ari Aster movie was very effective at making me feel anxious and depicted some things I genuinely fear. I used to have nightmares all the time about my sisters being in danger and being unable to save them. I fear being in trouble with my mother, being on her bad side. I fear fucking up monumentally. Then on a visceral level, head destruction gets to me. Especially when it's sudden.
there's nothing to be sad about but i am
❤ ❤️
i feel like a burden to myself sometimes
also i get really attached to one person at a time, you’ll probably know when it’s your turn.. and im sorry. I tend to need the comfort of pretending i have a best friend
