Everyone had a secret or two.  Not even the closet family would know everything of someone.  The time that Prompto spent with them was real and he was everything a best friend could be to Noctis.  Prompto was nothing like the cold, heartless MT they’d fought.  The blond was real and had emotions of his own.

The prince secretly thanked Ignis for being prepared at all times and had placed a clean handkerchif in his trousers pocket. Noctis dug into his pocket for it and offered it to his friend. "Come on crown citizen, check what your ID card says? You're a lucian, and my best bud.“ The prince announced rather proudly, hoping to cheer Prompto up.
