One thing I've wondered for a while is if Startouch Elves were deliberately chosen by the creators to represent purple because historically, it is the colour of royalty?

Now typically, it was Tyrian Purple that was considered the rarest and most valuable. But I applaud you to have a look at the shade of that purple:

The Merciful One's dress seems to have shades of Tyrian Purple on their outfit.

Another thing is Startouch Elves tend to be adorned with a lot of gold accessories and accents for their clothing. Gold obviously being another high value colour.

Last thing to note, both Aaravos and The Merciful One's tiaras are silver so I wonder are all Startouch Elves tiaras silver or are there some Startouch Elves adorned with golden tiaras?
