honestly? reki was a character i kinda needed rn. skateboarding is a huge passion to him and he loves it so much and spends so much time with it, but literally everyone in the main cast right now is better than him. even so, he doesn’t discourage them or even get super jealous. he’s happy and proud of them!! he’s so mediocre at what he does, but he loves it nonetheless and he’s doing his best. and. idk i’ve really hated everything i’ve made lately and have been so frustrated that i can’t be good at the things i enjoy like drawing, editing, playlists, games, etc.. so idk his character really spoke to me i love him lots.
