Taking it out of the tags but I really do think people on this site could stand to remember that both forcefem and forcemasc are very sexual CNC kinks and they always have been and making jokes about either being done to complete fucking strangers who have not consented to those jokes is sexual harassment.

Genuinely wild that this needs to be said but the way that forcefem has become such a joke here(forcemasc hasn't gotten as bad but I won't pretend it probably doesn't happen, people can be awful, I just don't see it as often) makes it clear it does need to be said and honestly treating either kink like fun non-sexual jokes tends to water down the fact that if you are legit joking about forcing sexual role-play onto random people without asking if they're cool with that means you're being a fucking creep and if you push it on trans people, especially folks who's gender presentation leans against that kink, you are being DEEPLY transphobic.

Gender and what kinks one is comfortable with is entirely up to the individual, and forcing it on others is fucking weird. It's one thing when it's fictional characters, but y'all need to leave real living people, especially real living queer people, alone. All you're doing is pushing trans folks further into the closet and making your communities less safe for trans folks who are out and anyone who isn't comfortable having someone joke about forcefully using a kink to change their gender presentation to one they're more comfortable with.

Also watering down/straight up lying about these being kinks in non 18+ spaces means kids are going to be at a higher risk of seeking out and connecting with potential predators. You cannot claim to be a safe and responsible person if you are directly lying to minors about the sexual nature of these, or any, kinks. It's fine if you wanna do it in a non-sexual way, or if you dislike that people do it in a sexual way, but don't lie about it's origin and what most people who engage in it are doing, because doing so is dangerous misinformation that can lead to real people, real children, being hurt.

I'm not anti-kink either but like if I went around telling kids that foot fetishists are just artists who appreciate feet in a non-sexual way everyone would see how much of a problem that is. Idk why there's such a massive blind-spot when it comes to forcefem/masc.

if your response to someone criticizing the school system is that 'theyre only saying that because they dont want to put effort into school' then youre so close. sosososooso close.... see the point is that a student should WANT to put effort into school instead of being forced to put effort into it if they want the right to a good future for themselves. thats the problem. that is the problem. there is little to nothing genuinely engaging built into in the school system's curriculum, at least in middle and highschool. students shouldnt dread learning, but its not their fault that they do due to how information is generally taught in public schools.
