Giant Robo - Giant Robo Appears (Blu Ray)
The Legend & Butterfly by 喜愛日本 Like Japan
Apparently there is an upcoming movie about Oda Nobunaga (Takuya Kimura) and his wife, Nohime (Haruka Ayase), set to release next year January.
The last historical show that Haruka Ayase acted in was, Yae No Sakura, where she played a musket-woman of Aizu, Yae Niijima during Boshin War.
The last historical show I watched with Oda Nobunaga and Nohime was Awaiting Kirin, with Shota Sometani and Haruna Kawaguchi.
As much as I love their portrayal of the characters, I’m quite excited to see Takuya Kimura and Haruka Ayase versions which looks to be more intimidating.
Not much is known of the plot at this time but it seems to be focusing on Oda’s defeat of the powerful Imagawa Clan and his rise to power.
cons on the jp. route release yoshi..oh i cant wait for the eng. one..i know your story will break me.

Imagawa Yoshimoto: No Lies
Everything pop culture tells you about Imagawa Yoshimoto is a lie. Please don’t believe it. In Sengoku Basara, in Sengoku Musou, he is portrayed as a clown. Some overly arrogant but clearly stupid noble. Please don’t believe this. Imgawa Yoshimoto, at the time of his death, had just finished an alliance with the Hojo and Takeda clans that surrounded his territory. He helped make an alliance with the two other big clans of the Kanto at the time and many of the other clans between his army and Kyoto honestly wouldn’t have stood a chance. He had the largest army, the money to supply them well, and was also well known as one of the most fearsome archers in Japan. Oda Nobunaga wasn’t known in Japan for killing some court jester. He killed a raging tiger. Not only did Yoshimoto’s death shock most of central Japan at the time but many people also declared it a stupid and impossible rumor at the time of his death. It is also documented that at the time of Yoshimoto’s death Nobunaga actually held a proper funeral for Yoshimoto out of respect and his men, save for the battle joyed Maeda Toshiie, actually left the battlefield shocked they had managed to take Yoshimoto’s head. Imagawa Yoshimoto did set up camp behind his army. He did get ambushed by Nobunaga in the rain. He did die. However, his life is FAR more than that one incident and I strongly recommend everyone read a proper summary of his life. He was smart, and quite deadly.
