This is Heart Failure!

An imaginary band composed of four members, all of which have had a troubled past and are searching for an escape of it.

They play a few genres such as rock, punk, grunge, indie and is very influenced by riot grrl and even glam rock, all with an atmosphere of melancholy, complicated and unsolved feelings and pure rage that only "trouble teenagers" that have felt misunderstood by society could understand.

The propose of creating this band was to initially simply represent an aesthetic)? A garage band made of teenagers (or young adults) that were viewed as "weird", "strange" or "unusual", finally founding support, friendship, loyalty and a new family, a new beginning among the members. However, these characters and their backstories gradually became a medium in which I could express myself (their creator :b), trough song titles, a few lyrics all based on actual events in my own life, and aspects of the personality of the characters actually taking after my own. It all became an artistic, creative and graphic way of expressing my thoughts and feelings, a coping mechanism in which I could write or draw all the confusing feelings I had.

So for me, this imaginary band is more than just that, I've grown so attached to these characters that I can see myself in parts of them, I've put all my soul, heart and dedication on this project, and I hope that someone out there (maybe reading this) could be just as emerged and intrigued on their story and life as me :)

Please treat them with love😭🙏🏻 they're my babies🥺 they're trying their best 🥲

I'll be posting some lore and art of them, maybe even in the future the songs will actually be heard 🫠 although this is more focused on the characters than in their music.

My Imaginary Prog Band

Here is my imaginary prog group, the style is slightly heavy, between a bit jazzy and a bit classical. And all the members would contribute to the compositions. They are massive nerds. The lyrics are all about sci-fi stuff. Sometimes, there are some lovely tunes, soft and melodious. I literally can’t name them now (maybe somebody could help me to work out)

The bassist/singer:

He is very reserved but cool, very quiet and intellectual. He loves jazz and funk, he is the jazz side of the band. Occasionally dropped some killer basslines. (believe me, the face of his was inspired by Enty.) 

And there is the drummer/lyricist:

Does he look like Mike Portnoy? He is very nerdy, read a lot, and very dorky, and friendly. His drum solo is very intense. Smol and sweet. 

My fav band member of this group. The keyboardist:

Talkative, spokesman of these four, sci-fi freak, classical music player(especially romantic stuff). A wizard of keyboards. Easygoing™.

The pretty lady. The metal head. The guitarist:

Blonde, wildest man of the group (The bass player is on the contrary). An actual goofball. Love spanish guitar for life, also the heavy side of the group, like every guitarist.

imaginary band:the ideas are come from the whole band, drummer is the lyricist, the songs are written as a band, although sometimes individually credited. the bassist is very reserved but cool, he is the singer. guitar player is a tall blonde, very pretty. keyboardist is the spokesman of the group, very realistic all the time. drummer is a sweet nerd, bassist is the intellectual cool man, and guitarist is a massive goofball. the genre is a bit jazzy and a bit classical, they have heavy, intense songs, and soft, melodious instrumental songs, too. Yeah it must be prog. seems keyboard player is the only normal guy of the group? nope, he is a massive fanboy. the drummer is sweet but somehow very dorky. guitar player is the wildest, bassist is on the contrary. and, i assumed: keyboard player is tall brunette with pair of green eyes and slightly wavy hair. drummer is a tangled black haired tough little boy with beard. the singer, bassist, is blue-eyed, dark brunette straight hair, very thin but very fit. the tall blonde guitarist is sapphire eyed.
