Eleven Years Of Pat’s Walking Photos!

Today's Walking Photos: Wait, what's that in the neighborhood LittleFreeLibrary? Omigosh, that looks like a copy of the brand-new aspirational coffee table book Eleven Years of Walking Photos, by yours truly!
What are the chances?! Wow, some lucky passerby is going to snag a really exciting free book! I'm talking about the Harry Potter tome of course…
Every year on this day I try to commemmorate the start of my Walking Photos journey by going somewhere out of the ordinary for me, in hopes of snagging some especially eye-catching photos. With today's wildfire smoke levels still at a "Very Unhealthy" rating, though, and my poor unhappy left eye freshly laser-fried from yesterday, it just didn't feel like the right day for an ambitious walk. So I'm afraid we have to settle for this fanciful mockup of a coffee table book which will probably never exist.
At the top right of the first photo you can see some of the smoke in the air obscuring the trees. The second photo provides a detail of my wondrous not-bestselling book, and the third photo gives a view of the sun through the trees and smoke.
It's supposed to rain a little tonight and then more tomorrow, and that may really finally help with the smoke levels. I know everyone in this state hopes so. Honestly I wouldn't mind a nice rainy stroll after everything we've been dealing with.
Thank you to everyone who keeps following this Tumblr, dropping in to look, liking a post every once in a while, etc. I really appreciate your replies and feedback and I just love knowing that people are enjoying it, at least some of the time. Sorry things have been a tad uneven of late, but I'm hopeful things will level out somewhat and I can get back to my daily routine. Onward into Year 12!
