Hi! I was wondering if you have any advice for regressors who rely on fictional or inspirational caregivers. Like, for those of us who don’t have a real-life caregiver but still feel that need, and find comfort in characters or idols instead. It can get a little lonely sometimes, especially for people who aren’t open about their regression or don’t have a safe environment for it

♡ journaling ──୨ৎ── journal!! you can write letters to your fictional caregiver or write as if your just ranting to them, etc!༅

♡ play pretend ──୨ৎ── just jmagine they are there when youre small and they are helping you n stuff!༅

♡ fanfiction ──୨ৎ── you can read agere fanfics of your fictional cg or make one!༅

♡ background information ──୨ৎ── if they arent a character from a fandom, make your imagery cg a background story!༅

♡ safe box ──୨ৎ── no safe space? make a mini one! get a box, maybe like a shoe box or anything you can find! then you can just add anything that makes you feel safe in there, not just agere gear but anything that you find comforting! then pull it out when you need that safe space!༅

♡ decor ──୨ৎ── to make your environment feel more safe you can also try to decorate your room to have childish touch, you can find diy stuff to make and get a cute night light, etc!༅

♡ test the waters ──୨ৎ── if you feel lonely and really want someone while regressed, try a friend! if youre not sure if they'd be supportive or not you can try to bring agere up in convo and see how they react!༅

♡ community ──୨ৎ── you can always try to reach out to other regressors to befriend them if they are okay with it!༅

Imagine a Spider Demon caregiver

(aka a post about my imaginary caregiver, who is a spider demon)

They'd wrap you up in a lot of blankets to simulate being caught in their web

Hugs with eight arms would be next level

More arms means more things they can do for you. One set of arms hugs you tight while another wraps a blanket around you, while another fixes a quick snack or puts on a movie for you.

They'd get you a soft spider plushie or maybe a halloween spider blanket to sleep with.

They're a little scary sometimes, but that just means they can scare away the monsters under your bed!

Probably good at knitting and might make you a baby blanket or a little friend : )

Watches over you while you sleep. No matter what, they always make sure you feel like their special little kiddo.
