This is my “I’m-an-idiot-I-shoulda-packed-up-last-night,-I-knew-rain-was-coming” look. . Got thoroughly soaked again this morning, packing up to head out. A couple days of rain are expected, and I’ve done about as much as I can do right here, so instead of hunkering down for two days, I chose to head out. . Rain like this, I want to find a place with best of local fare and sit awhile, taking my time to enjoy great food while I decide which way to go. . I know just da’ place; Shucks Seafood House on W Port Street in Abbeville. More on that later, after I’ve had my fill of Gator Bites, Gumbo, and Bread Pudding. . Where to next? Southern tip of Texas on the Gulf, I think, but before that Ima head back towards Raceland, LA to see if I can find some special stuff I can’t seem to find around here. Christmas stuff! . One racer had no arms but did burpees, obstacles, and finished the race 🙇🏻‍♂️👏🏼💪🏼 Just because something is difficult does not mean it can’t be done. On two different obstacles (walls), I tried and failed three times, but I made it over on my fourth attempt.
