Today is the first day after I resignes my position as a preschool educational assistant for a local school district. I don't normally share much personal info, but today I have all the feels (like the notebook says). I applied to work virtually and was denied even though I'm high risk. I didn't feel the risk to my health was worth the small amount of pay. I will miss all the preschoolers, but not the bureaucracy from my district. I just hope that my former team and co-workers can keep themselves safe. Dealing with the pandemic has been stressful, and #covidanxiety is real. Please be patient with your student's teacher. They are doing their best and are navigating education the best they can.
