Day 324 🦭
"Tolerance will reach such a level that intelligent people will be banned from thinking so as not to offend the imbeciles." – Fyodor Dostoevsky
reading men's DISGUSTING comments on christina koch makes me sick
Tim ignored Oliver's request to avoid L and forced them to do a hookup scene, even though L had explicitly asked not to do such scenes. As a result, Oliver had to kiss his cheek while the camera filmed from awkward angles, because L was being extremely homophobic about it. So trust me, Buddie happening has nothing to do with Ryan’s opinions.
first of all: hi there troll, how are you doing over there in delulu land? how's the weather? a little cold, cloudy and depressing? that's sad. it's sunny and warm over here, sucks to be you, I guess.
second: I was going to block and ignore because you're clearly baiting here, but then I thought this would be a great opportunity to dismantle your lies (and that are being blindly shared all over the place by other idiots like you). so here we go:
1) Oliver requested to avoid Lou - when did he do that? how do you know? what's the source? where are the receipts? because it's funny that he, in this interview, actually said this:
so, Tim asked him, told him the bi storyline would be with Lou and that Lou was on board, and Oliver's response was: "Hell yeah, let's do it! I'm excited."
2) Lou was forced to do a hook-up scene against his will - how does that work? are actors indentured workers without any freedom? they have to obey and do whatever the showrunner wants? is the concept of consent gone extinct?? and why did Tim ask Oliver if he accepted the bisexual storyline (see point 1)? why not just hand him the script and expect him to do whatever he wrote in there, then? food for thought.
3) Lou asked explicitly not to do hook-up scenes - this is a half truth. he asked Tim for the first kiss between Buck and Tommy not to be a full make-out scene, because he didn't feel it was right for that moment, and Tim agreed that Tommy could be perceived as predatory, so he changed it.
but, in a scene where two ex-boyfriends meet for the first time after months of mutual pining, it makes perfect sense for them to heavily make out, which they did (very homophobic of Lou to do such a scene... oh wait. but I'm getting ahead of myself. we'll talk about that in a minute.)
so, here I am again, adding receipts. in this interview, Lou explains how he feels about make-out scenes in general:
and in this one, he shares what he talked about with Tim about the kissing scene and where's Tommy coming from:
so, even though he did say he doesn't particularly like long make-out scenes, he didn't say anything about not wanting to ever film one. and the Buck and Tommy make-out scene wasn't particularly long or particularly racy (it was just a few kisses and getting each other undressed) and it perfectly showcased how they still have feelings for each other - which the morning after scene confirmed.
4) Oliver had to kiss Lou's cheek because Lou was being homophobic - hahahaHAHAHAHA. that's a good one. an homophobic actor accepts a gay role and then proceeds to be really difficult on set by refusing to kiss his scene partner on the lips and.... the showrunner keeps extending his arc and bringing him back for more episodes?? sure. makes perfect sense.
let's look at their kisses, then, and check this statement's veracity, shall we?

oh will you look at that. those lips connected with such enthusiasm that their noses got smushed. but you're probably right about one thing, anon: I'm sure Buck has kissed Tommy's cheeks often, including the [REDACTED].
5) Buddie happening has nothing to do with Ryan's opinions - really? so you think he would just be forced to kiss a male actor against his will? that's how you believe things work (see point 2 for reference)? I absolutely despise Ryan's misogynistic and transphobic views, but that doesn't stop me from defending his right to give his consent to a storyline involving intimate scenes.
so, the ball is in your court, anon. come back with your receipts about these 5 points or shut the hell up.
Saw some cretin's post about how "no lotr fans outside of cis het white guys actually like Tolkien. No one can stand him. We all hate his guts".
So, it's with a heavy heart that I must inform you all, my dear friends, mutuals, followers, that I am - apparently- no woman, but a cis het white guy.
If I switched out my group members with pigeons we’d have a better project
