Martin’s been arrested exactly one time. It was for shoplifting- he was looking at his shopping list on his phone and an item at the same time and put the item in his pocket and his phone on the shelf. An employee saw him do it and freaked out and got the police involved. He’s still very embarrassed about it.

Sirius’s head falls back against the couch, and he lets out the smoke, coughing slightly as he does. When he passes the joint to Remus, he catches the dopey look in his eyes and bends over, pressing a kiss to his jaw.

Remus grins and tilts his head before Sirius can process what’s happening. Their lips meet, and he lets out a content sigh. Just as he leans in, fingers reaching for the back of Remus’s neck, Remus pulls away and takes a hit.

“So unfair.” Despite his pout, Sirius doesn’t entirely mean it. It hits him almost in waves, and he lets it wash over him. As his eyes close, he lets out a hum and sinks deeper into the couch, aware of the weight of his body.

“You going to take it or what?”

Sirius opens his eyes to see Remus’s hand in front of him, handing the joint back. There’s only a little bit left, and Remus waves for him to take it. When he’s done, he stubs it out in the ashtray and turns to face Remus. The silence lingers for a moment, and Remus stares off in front of him before Sirius interrupts.

“You’re fucking cute, you know that?”

“And you’re high.” Remus chuckles and presses a wet kiss to Sirius’s forehead. “I’m high too.”

“No shit, Sherlock.”

“Sirius Black, didn’t your mother teach you better manners than that?” Remus teases, and Sirius can’t help but laugh.

“We both know I have more manners than she has in her little toe.” Once their giggling dies down, comfortable silence falls between them again. And when Remus reaches out, cupping Sirius’s cheek with his hand, Sirius smiles and rests his head against it.

His stomach eventually growls, breaking the quiet. “I could go for some chips right now,” Sirius says and groans. “They sound heavenly.”

Remus hums. “Any particular kind? Curry?”

“Don’t taunt, Remus. It isn’t nice.” Sirius pouts.

“I’m serious.”

“Are you going to get up to go get some right now?” Remus shakes his head. “I better hope you’re not cooking.”

“Say I could magically bring you some chips without you having to get up at all. What else would you want?”

“For starters, that’s impossible unless you know some magic I don’t.”

Remus pulls out his phone and waves it in Sirius’s face. Like most Muggle technology, Sirius doesn’t entirely understand how it works, and he bites his tongue before he can say anything dumb. “Here look,” Remus says, and Sirius bends over to look.

Remus taps on something, and Sirius stares baffled as he enters their address and types in the name of a nearby store. “I can just tell them what I want, and they’ll bring it in--” He pauses and scrolls up to check something. “--half an hour or so.”

Sirius’s jaw drops, and his head reels. “Honestly, I’m not sure how anybody thinks we wizard folk are the more advanced bunch when you Muggles have shit like this,” Sirius says. He lets out a low whistle, and Remus laughs and presses a kiss to the corner of Sirius’s lips.

“You’re adorable. Now tell me what you want.”

1. what’s your feel-good movie?

i’ve been watching the harry potter movies for the second time in the last year, and honestly, despite all the many problems i have with them, they’re weirdly comforting? if we’re talking beyond that general nostalgia value, i’d say maybe addams family values, lilo and stitch, and the princess bride.

13. what’s your comfort food?

savory, it’s probably tacos (mostly fish or shrimp but also mushroom) or sushi and shrimp dumplings.

sweet, it’s definitely something that has chocolate with it. occasionally ice cream, occasionally chocolate chip cookies. always both together, though.

28. hugs or hand-holding?

i do like holding hands, but i’m gonna have to go with hugs. nothing better than a really tight, warm hug that lingers for a little. also, i have clammy hands.
