yes. they are separated now. 2 : 3. yunho and changmin are using TVXQ while Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu are using JYJ as their group name right now. do you know how painful it was stating that fact?
but i can never hate them even for being like that right now. because even separated, they prove to everyone else that they are singers.
changmin-yunho means bass-top tenor harmony. which is difficult. since it's a very low and very high positions. but both did some adjustments. changmin raising the pitch a note higher and yunho on melody. it's evident in the athena song.
jaejoong-yoochun-junsu means main vocal-low baritone-top baritone harmony. if they'll pursue with those positions the melody would feel empty because there's no highest nor lowest position. hence jaejoong adjusted a note higher (this is probably the reason why i find his voice different now), junsu being on main vocals and yoochun keeping it low. I heard this harmony on their song Nine.
why am i saying this? because JYJ-is-better-than-homin or homin-is-better-than-JYJ is getting to my nerves. i didnt take a course related to music, im not that familiar of notes, positions, pitches and the likes but it just says one thing. THE FIVE PEOPLE WHOM YOU ALL KNOW AS MEMBERS OF TVXQ, DBSK, TOHOSHINKI, 동방신기 and 東方神起 ARE GIVING THEIR ALL JUST TO GIVE YOU GOOD MUSIC.
for new fans, it's fine to take sides. but for the old ones, YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAT TAKING SIDES. Come on, the world is already crazy. can't we just unite even just in this one?
