There could be multiple reasons for why the Swords cards keep showing up:
a lot of air energy between you and your soulmate. You’re already an Air sign, but he could be one as well
picking rationality over intuition (can be good/bad/neutral)
a lot of thoughts but not enough action in the realm of the question
From Biddy Tarot: “Should a Tarot reading be predominantly Swords cards, you are seeking solutions to what are primarily mental struggles, conflict and arguments, and decisions that must be made.”
At their extreme, too many Swords can suggest violence and anger. I didn’t really pick up on any of that energy in your reading, though, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Also, any of the suits in excess can a something too watch out for, not just Swords. Too many Cups? Sensitivity, manipulation. Too many Wands? Impulsivity, recklessness. Too many Pentacles? Materialism, shallowness. Tarot’s a great introspection tool, so I’d just check myself for the Swords themes mentioned above instead of worrying too much about it.
