The joy of one’s own happiness is one thing, but experiencing the overwhelming pride and swelling in your heart due to a loved one’s happiness is a thing of it’s own. The honor you feel at being invited into their moment is above any other. You feel like you have accomplished something great by winning over their trust and suddenly your own life feels minor. You can only think and feel for that other. Your worries are washed away in replacement with the lingering feeling of excitement even if the cause of it does not effect you directly. Being able to see that smile is special, important and so valuable.
