Blood of Eden books 2-3 spoilers
One thing that bugs me about Allie in book 2… is her constant fear of having been poisoned… but also not being worried about Jackal being given the same fate.
Like, dude, mention it. Idc if you lie and say “I overheard some of the vamps say the blood is poisonous” or something like that.
The only other thing is… I hope Jackal signed up as a Guinea pig for the synthesized cure. And that’s why in book 3, he seems slightly immune (if I remember right?). Still in pain but standing.
Idk. Thoughts?
Hello, Sunmoore
...
y.. oo..u'r.e.
I mean come on
Allison is the new kid who is loyal to kanin and sees him with stars in her eyes.
I want jaded Allison who would still save kanin but is far more willing to shit talk him with jackal, because that is what siblings do.
Meanwhile heaven or hell help those who shit talk kanin in front of either of them.
I love these books so much you have no idea
(Repost from September 1, 2017; revised) Before reading this entry, please queue up “Princes of the Universe,” by Queen, on the music streaming service of your preference.
For the fifth and final Dungeons & Dragons box set, Frank Mentzer finally pitched the idea of levels into the trash bin. In fact, it essentially discards the entire previous system, converting immortal characters to an entirely new system of powers. Instead of dungeons and castles, much of your time as an immortal is spent creating your own plane of existence. And wearing loin clothes, apparently.
The DM’s book attempts to find things for immortal characters to do. It details the multiverse, a cosmology that includes versions of the planes as detailed in Manual of the Planes, as well as the entirety of the Milky Way. There’s plenty of new monsters (including the creepiest illustration of a glabrezu I’ve ever seen – those little human arms!), many of them weird. There’s rules for the different forms your god characters can take.
It is all very interesting. You can tell a good deal of thought went into it. It is probably Mentzer’s magnum opus. I love it. It is totally worth the read. I just can’t imagine playing it?
(In a serious bit of nerdy kismet, the Immortal Rules did, in fact, come out the same year Highlander hit theaters. This seems important.)
Just directions is fine, athough my voice is friendly it had a clear warning. get away from him or I'll tear your throat out
