People tend to stay away from fandoms like that because you get so caught up with their obsessions to the point that you force it on others
There is is nothing wrong with being passionate but once you let your passion consume you all there is left is destructive pride
Ive been in multiple fandoms that were deemed toxic if you really want this content to push forward and continue you need to calm down and really look at what your doing
The reason people dont don’t want to watch the show isn’t because of its content , it’s because of the fan presence ? I’ve met wonderful fans of the show but I’ve also had my unfortunate fare share of nasty people ? Letting toxic people represent the fandom will ultimately be the end of your fandom
Why let them be your show runners ? When there are amazing artists ? People who make memes ? Write songs and make wonderful content
Let those be the people who represent the fandom
And you’ll see things will get better
I await to to see what the show brings us this next season ? There still is hope for positive lgbt rep because In order to be normalize we can’t just show modern family gays ? There needs to be representations of all kinds
And if you think every lgbt relationship is super positive and quirky and we don’t deserve to have a couple fighting them your the problem
