I spent the past week recreating (though it's not an exact recreation) the cover of the book given to Katherine Parr by her stepdaughter, Princess Elizabeth for New Year's 1544. The book is a French to English translation of "The Miroir or Glasse of the Synneful Soul" and it's believed that eleven-year-old Elizabeth embroidered the cover herself.
Ah, but the pregnancy angst is from Zim’s side only. Dib is actually genuinely excited to become a dad, but Zim’s constant complaining about wanting his pregnancy to be over was making it difficult. But, this sort of behavior was normal... right? Dib thought so, until he watched Zim actually try to get up from the table only seconds after giving birth, despite his body’s protests. “Now that that ‘thing’ is out, I can go back to work on taking over your filthy planet.”
ghhh i like angst from both sides tho cuz ngl i dont think dib would make an amazing dad regarding a smeet 😔
sometimes the only thing to make you feel better is to listen to minecraft music
I've been so focused on protecting my heart that without even noticing it, I've turned into someone who never tries at all. It's just that, it would hurt so much, if I failed after trying my best...

Going through the History of Philosophy (without any gaps) podcast’s section on the Arab world, it’s absolutely amazing to hear the words pronounced and then see how they’re spelled. We’re on someone who I would have assumed had a name spelled something like Ibn Timea. It’s actually Ibn Taymiyya. Three y’s. Are you kidding me.
