The participants agreed to limit their fleet sizes, maintain the status quo in the Pacific, and guarantee China’s independence. I got approached by a friend earlier this year. They wanted to commission me for an anniversary illustration, to frame and give to their partner for 10 years of marriage. "It need to represent us, but it doesn't have to look like us, I trust you because I have seen the fantastic paintings you've made before." Such an honour to get this sort of commission. I have done a couple in my career and they always make me feel so humble. Someone appreciate my skill so much that they wish to give a piece of my art as a gift for a special, personal, moment. Anyhow, today the gift was given. I saw the photo and the print framed illustration came out fantastic. Although they might not look like this, the characters represent them, and I tried to fill as much possible little hints at the both of them throughout the illustration. This will probably not mean much to anyone else but them. And before anyone get off their heels- yes, kickass woman Space Marine (apothecary), because this really embodies their being and how I see them (and I am not alone in thinking they är kickass!). .
