Does Aleena love her father even after all she has been through and some of the less pleasant things he has made her do?

Yes, she does. Because technically Mortis never forced her to do those things, she agreed to them. Of course she did agree to them expecting him to do more for his end of the bargain, but… well it comes to no surprise that Mortis is far better versed in navigating Sith politics to his advantage and doing the bare minimum to keep Aleena happy.

And considering her usual parental figures whom she has cared about, well it was bound to end like this. And considering Mortis hasn’t lied to her (like all the others), kidnapped her (like Fauren), abandoned her (like Nefa), or told her to her face that he’d think she was better off dead than fallen (like Aleusis), is anyone surprised that she ends up caring for Mortis.

All this is helped by the fact that Mortis shows that he cares and wants the best for her, even if they might hold somewhat different views on what’s best for her. But it does take years for her to reach that point.

OPT Meme for Jessian and Vette: Who wants to stay in bed just a little longer?

I think you meant Lucwayn and Vette. Jessian is the evil brother who is very murderery. He didn’t romance anyone.

Lucwayn would probably be the one who wants to stay in bed but that would be a close one. I do see Vette sometimes wanting to stay but Lucwayn is a bit more on the hedonistic side and enjoys lounging. There is probably a lot of Vette playfully trying to rouse him. And Lucwayn wrapping his arms around her “five more minutes.”

When his children were little, did Vowrawn ever take them to his office and to other counselors offices to annoy them? If so how did Andraria react?

As much as Vowrawn would have utterly enjoyed doing so, no he didn’t. Vahita and Vulmyss weren’t really known to the general public as their children even at a young age. Not because neither Andraria or Vowrawn didn’t love them, but they wanted to mitigate favoritism in the Academy and keep any potential enemies from targeting their young kids before they really have a chance to fight back. 

Without those factors, he’d be hella into taking his kids to work day. And trying hard to hide his amusement as Vulmyss becomes an utterly snarky little baby boy. Vahita Vowrawn would have to watch a little bit as she’d likely want to stab random strangers…. with weapons he knows weren’t anywhere near them or in any rooms, he can remember.

As for her reaction to this hypothetical situation, she wouldn’t mind too much. So long as the kids aren’t dead and perfectly intact, it’s fine.

“You have no idea how much I want you right now.” Bry and Barash

Bryasere stands, caf in hand, and beckons Barash over after a quick look around the caf stand. Her gaze drifts from his eyes to his mouth before continuing downward; she crooks a finger at him and leans over the counter.

“You have no idea how much I want you right now,” she whispers, her mouth nearly touching his earlobe.

As she continues, murmuring her licentious thoughts in her crisp Kaas accent, it’s all Barash can do to keep his face straight, although he can’t help the blush warming his cheeks.

“Well, Mr. Clechad,” she finally says, stepping back, acting as though she didn’t just envelop his brain in a fog of lust, “I really must get back to my duties. Do have a good afternoon.” And with that, she’s gone, pivoting smartly and striding down the concourse.

Barash stares after her, jumping when someone at the main counter clears their throat. “What? I – oh!” He struggles to keep the guilty look off his face as a smirking Nox follows his gaze. “Majesty, what can, uh – what can I get for you?”

Her smirk only deepens. “You know, if Bryasere learned anything from Marr, she sets aside one hour for lunch every day. Granted, you’d have to be creative about why you’re there, but ….” She trails off, gives him an innocent look. “All knowledge is useful knowledge, right?”

And @imperialwarrior while I’m at it, I DON’T OWN IT. I watched TPM and AotC in college with friends who owned them. I also didn’t watch my first Star Wars movie until high school so....

It’s okay. @inquisitorhotpants has informed me that she’s sitting me down and we’re watching it online this weekend via some screenshare mechanism.

I loathe the Consular story,it is so boring.

The weird thing is that it doesn’t seem like it should be. Saving possessed Jedi Masters, making alliances, picking up ancient armies... it should be exciting.

I think part of the problem is how...mellow...they write the Consular. I know Jedi are supposed to be mellow, but the lack of reaction can be off-putting.

@imperialwarrior I do admit that the part of the reason for teasing people with this is that I don’t just shove it into my wip folder for the next three months. So I’ll do my best to publish it within the next weekend.

@chivalin thank you so much ❤️ you always have a way to keep me motivated. And you know, ever since you said that the first time, I’ve been starting to think whatever or not I should. And by thinking I mean doing worldbuilding in my head. Bringing the setting closer to modern day, inventing a magic system, making it more into dark is not evil and light is not good, adding actual moral ambiguity. Things like that. And it’s all your fault. Vittu saatana sun kanssa xD

Vowrawn + parenting

Vowrawn is surprisingly patient with Vahita and Vulmyss as infants/children. It certainly catches Andraria off-guard as she didn’t expect him to be able to deal with whatever their children ended up throwing their way. He explains it simply: “In comparison to the Dark Council, caring for two infants is easier than listening to the inane squawking and posturing. These two are tolerable and delightful. the council members, a hit or a miss my dear.”

From afar he does encourage his daughter and son in whatever they choose to do. And occasionally spoil them rotten when Andraria isn’t around.

Vowrawn is also the first one to get up when either Vahita or Vulmyss start wailing in the middle of the night. Even if he hates not getting enough beauty sleep. He puts up with it and tries to soothe the kids before they get worse. Or Andraria wakes up. 

And when the two of them are adults Vowrawn agrees to allow them to forge their own path without his or Andraria’s name to propel them further in the Sith hierarchy. He is insanely proud of his kids. No matter how much he loves to tease and prod them. 

Vowrawn loves teasing Vulmyss to no end tho. In the nicest of ways of course, but it always exasperates his son... especially when Vowrawn makes calls to Lord Cytharat about how the two of them are doing.
