As much as I love the bratty, rich fledgling!Scott in the starting vampire Pyro au, I feel like if Pyro isn't pathetic, someone else has to be. Y'know, keep it balanced.

So what if Scott comes to Oakhurst because he's fallen from grace. Maybe the whole family did, maybe he was kicked out. But he's come here to hide, and maybe re-establish himself. He doesn't like mentioning his family name, not because it's too historical and people might put two and two together, but because that's no longer a name he can be proud of.

He sees being turned as a way of regaining his status and pride, but even if he is turned he'll still be a fledgling next to Pyro and Owen. He'll rely on his sire for his new strength and confidence.

I know realistically it's still Scott and him being pathetic wouldn't last long but I do need him to be the more pathetic/weaker member of a duo once. Please.

I was a hardcore Tokyo Mew Mew fan AND a Kisshu apologist back in my baby otaku years, so now I found the TMM Return manga and I fell in love with it all over again.

If I had to blame someone for my tendency to love the bad guys (and fembois, why not) it would definitely be the manga version of this dude.
